One town, one trade, thirty years.
Glorious Marinefuels has been an importer, exporter and processor of petroleum products since 1995. The business began with a plain fact: every vessel beached at the Alang ship-breaking yard, forty kilometres from Bhavnagar, arrives with fuel, lubricating oil and sludge in its tanks, and someone has to take it off before the cutting starts.
We take it off, bring it to our plant in the Mamsa Industrial Area, and process it. Residual fuel is blended and tested to IS 1593 as furnace oil. The lighter cut goes out as LDO. Used lubricating oil goes through a wiped-film molecular distillation unit and comes out as a straw-coloured base oil. Whatever is left is incinerated.
The plant is departmentalised into production, procurement, quality testing and sales, with a laboratory that reports the specification of every lot. It handles bulk consignments and has done so for the same clients under long-term supply arrangements for years.
On the import side, we have brought SN500 base oil and paving-grade bitumen in from Gulf refineries for the western region of India for over a decade, with a line in the UAE.

Safety
The workers come first.
Safety is a core value of the company and the first priority in every unit. We back that up with training and a safety record we are prepared to show.
For us the word includes the environment: minimising waste and preventing pollution are part of the same discipline as keeping a distillation hall safe to work in. The residue from re-refining is incinerated to complete combustion rather than dumped.
