Where it comes from

Used lubricating oil, largely from the engine rooms of ships broken at Alang, taken through the six-step wiped-film process at Mamsa: settling, centrifuge and purifier, dehydration at 120 °C, light-cut distillation, thin-film molecular distillation under high vacuum, and clay bleaching.

Used for

Base stock for blenders, and for any buyer who needs a clean lubricating oil at a used-oil price.
